Tonight after my night class I watched a blue heron eat some fish from about 10 feet away. Thats cool. Funny to catch a glimpse of nature's wonder in the middle of Chicago suburbs.
Now here I sit, a white boy with red hair and a crappy beard, listening to "The Source's Hip Hop Hits" from 1997. Wu-Tang, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Westside Connection, WyClef and the Refugee All-Stars. Good stuff. I've determined that a really good hip hop beat is just as good a good guitar riff. I know I like rock way more than rap/hip hop, I can't deny the groovy feeling I get when I hear a good beat. Anyway, I'm headed to Krispy Kreme's with Grabs. May your conversations be filled with grace. you have my love.

Do I really want to be a typical missionary that raises support? I think not. Quite frankly I want to roam the world until I get hitched, which who knows how long that will be. I think ideally I am more of a "tent-maker," making a living in a nation will ministering. I don't really know how this could be done, but I am thinking about it and the possibilities. Yep.
By the way, if you don't own the two Coldplay albums or the new Sleeping at Last (Ghosts), you should go purchase them. Right now. Remember, the stars, look how they shine for you and everything you do. I mean, for you and everything you do, how dope is that!?!? Well, I love you and so I say; you have my love.

Hello Blogger, might I say that I am glad to be back. It has been too long. Ahhh.
Ok, well I thought about filling in everything since whenever the last time I posted was, but I decided that I don't have a fortnight to write. Everything has been good though, no changes of great magnitude. I am still pursuing the position with GEM in Germany, and have been emailing with a missionary in Berlin with a ministry that sounds pretty awesome. I have "decided" that if this doesn't work out I am going to SERIOUSLY consider moving to London for a while. Quite frankly I need to experience some life outside of America. Canada is nice, Mexico is too warm, so London is it. Plus they have real football, cricket, scones, tea and castles. I know that the Lord is the one who determines my steps, and I am fairly optimistic regarding the whole Germany deal even though I haven't been thinking about it lately. Whenever I do think about it I get excited, even though I have to correct my motives every once in a while (German soccer, women and beer, plus the World Cup is there in '06). So for all of you (3-4?- people that read my blog, there you go! you have my love.
